Committed to Helping You Resolve Your Financial Issues

If you are having trouble paying your bills, it can be a very stressful and vulnerable time for you and your family. When you start looking for a bankruptcy attorney, it is important to know that the lawyer you retain will personally work with you and is someone with whom you can communicate easily and effectively. You need an attorney who will be honest with you but nonjudgmental, and treat you as a person with real concerns rather than just another case.

What types of people have been helped with their financial difficulties? At the Law Office of Robert J. Morrison, I have represented people from all walks of life. The following list offers some examples: clerical workers, factory workers, doctors, lawyers, dentists, nurses, members of the clergy, police officers, firefighters, bus drivers, chiropractors, food service workers, business owners, professors, college students, teachers, members of the military and veterans, married people, singles, retirees and senior citizens. This list is not complete. If you don't find yourself on this list, rest assured I have most likely helped someone in your position.

At the Louisville, Kentucky, Law Office of Robert J. Morrison, my primary goal is to help you make the right decision for yourself and your personal circumstances. In some cases that might mean that you won't file for bankruptcy at all but will pursue other options to resolve your financial issues.

About Our Firm

The Law Office of Robert J. Morrison is that of a sole practitioner with more than 30 years of experience. Unlike larger firms, I have purposely chosen to carry a relatively smaller case load. Although I am licensed to appear in the bankruptcy courts in Southern Indiana and Eastern Kentucky, I have decided to limit my practice to cases filed in the Western District of Kentucky's Louisville Division. I will handle your case if you are a resident of one of the following counties: Jefferson, Oldham, Bullitt, Hardin, Breckenridge, Larue, Marion, Nelson, Spencer, Washington. In practical terms, this means rather spending time driving to various courts outside of Louisville, I have additional time to meet and consult with clients in my Louisville-based office.

Helping You Through a Complicated Process

If you decide that bankruptcy is right for you, I can help you with a Chapter 7 debt liquidation or a Chapter 13 debt reorganization that allows you to repay your debt according to a structured payment plan. There are many factors to consider when choosing the right path to resolve your financial issues. I take a personal interest in the financial well-being of my clients, and I will help you through the entire process.

I pride myself on the personalized service I offer to each client. When you are experiencing financial difficulties, the last thing you need is to be thrown into a bankruptcy production line that cares more about moving on to the next file than anything else. When you hire my firm, you hire me. I handle every aspect of your case myself and respond to your phone calls and e-mails personally.
